As shown in fig. 1 to 4, a potato chip forming mechanism comprises a machine frame, a driving mechanism, a reciprocating driving belt 2, a connecting frame 1 and a forming screen plate 3; the driving mechanism is arranged on the frame; two reciprocating driving belts 2 are arranged; the two reciprocating driving belts 2 are arranged in parallel; the driving mechanism drives the two reciprocating driving belts 2 to do reciprocating rotation motion; a plurality of connecting frames 1 are uniformly arranged between the two reciprocating driving belts 2; a plurality of groups of sockets 12 are uniformly arranged at the bottom of the connecting frame 1 along the length direction; a plurality of oil through holes are uniformly distributed on the forming screen plate 3, and the two sides of the forming screen plate 3 are respectively provided with a through toothed plate 31; the two sides of the forming screen plate 3 are bent upwards, the middle of the forming screen plate 3 is bulged downwards and forms an arc-shaped structure, and the forming screen plate 3 is connected to the socket 12 of the connecting frame 1 in a penetrating manner through the penetrating toothed plates 31 on the two sides; the penetrating toothed plates 31 on both sides of the upper end of the forming mesh plate 3 have elastic force expansion force expanding towards the lower parts of both sides.
