1. A method for measuring the length of a steel billet, the method comprising:

step 1: inputting a preset length value of a steel billet into a controller;

step 2: cutting the steel billet according to a preset requirement by a cutting machine;

and step 3: after the steel billet is cut, acquiring first length data of the steel billet by using two laser range finders, wherein the laser range finders are correspondingly arranged on two sides of an inlet of a cooling bed;

and 4, step 4: acquiring first coded data of the number spraying machine on the steel billet;

and 5: combining and optimizing the first length data and the first coded data of the billet to obtain optimized second length data and second coded data;

step 6: comparing the second length data with the preset length value, and judging whether the second length data meets a preset condition;
