Background

The existing propeller speed regulator does not have a small-distance limiting mechanism, the propeller is protected at a fixed distance by adopting an end surface tooth meshing mechanism, the end surface tooth meshing mechanism is complex in structure, the size and the weight of the propeller are increased, the use requirements of aircrafts such as airplanes and the like cannot be met, and the research on the propeller speed regulator with the small-distance limiting and fixed-distance protection function is urgently needed. The existing speed regulator has no beta manipulation and reverse propeller function, the airplane can land and slide by reducing the blade angle of the propeller in a certain range to achieve a certain damping effect, but the effect is very little, the airplane has long landing and sliding distance, a long runway needs to be arranged, land resources are wasted, and the utilization rate of the existing land resources is low. Therefore, a speed regulator which has a simple oil path, can control feathering and can realize beta operation and reverse feathering functions is urgently needed to be researched.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to solve the problems in the prior art and provide the beta valve assembly of the propeller speed regulator, the propeller speed regulator provided with the beta valve assembly has the functions of small-distance movement limiting and distance protection, beta control and reverse propeller function, so that the structure of the propeller becomes simple, the volume becomes small, the weight becomes light, the flight safety is good, and the runway is shortened.

When the engine slows down, high-pressure oil pumped by the speed regulator enters a propeller cavity, the propeller moves from feathering to a small distance direction, when the blade angle of the propeller is reduced to an alpha angle, the propeller continues to be in a small distance, the beta valve moves under the elastic force action of the reverse paddle lever and the return spring, and the small distance end on the beta valve closes the high-pressure oil outlet, so that the blade angle of the propeller is automatically kept at a certain blade angle, the propeller is spaced, and the protection function is achieved. β -steering and counter-paddles: when the propeller is operated in a reverse propeller mode, the propeller moves towards the reverse propeller direction, the reverse propeller lever drives the beta valve to move forwards, the high-pressure oil outlet is closed by the small-distance end plug, oil is not supplied to the propeller cavity any more, therefore, a certain propeller blade angle is automatically kept, the reverse propeller operation of the rear pull power rod is continued, the beta valve moves backwards again, the small-distance end plug leaves the high-pressure oil outlet, oil is supplied to the propeller cavity, the high-pressure oil enters the propeller cavity again, the high-pressure oil moves towards the reverse propeller direction, the reverse propeller lever drives the beta valve to move forwards, the oil circuit is closed again, and the process is repeated until full reverse propeller operation is achieved.

The propeller speed regulator provided with the beta valve assembly has the functions of small-distance limiting and distance-fixing protection and beta control and reverse propeller function, so that the propeller structure becomes simple, the size becomes small, the weight becomes light, the flight safety is good, and the runway is shortened.

Detailed Description

The invention is further described with reference to the following figures and specific embodiments.

As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the present embodiment includes a bush 5, a shutter 8, a return spring 10, a clevis 9 with a step and a central hole, and a cap 13. One end of the valve 8 is provided with a small-distance end plug 15, and the other end is fixed with a U-shaped fork 9. The bushing 5 is press-fitted in a round mounting hole 14 extending out of the speed regulator shell in an interference manner, and an adjusting washer 12 with the same diameter as the round mounting hole 14 extending out of the speed regulator shell is press-fitted at the end of the bushing by a cap 13; the relative position of the valve small-distance end plug 15 and the bushing high-pressure oil outlet 2 is adjusted through adjusting the gasket 12. The valve 8 is assembled in the bushing 5 with a small gap at one end with a small distance end plug 15, and the valve 8 and the bushing 5 are sealed by a sealing ring 6 at the end position of the bushing 5. Another sealing ring 7 is pressed between the bushing, the circular mounting opening 14 and the adjusting gasket 12. The return spring 10, which is fitted over the flap 8 and fixed in the groove of the clevis 9, is pressed against the adjusting washer 12. The cap 13 is provided with a reducing inner hole with the diameter matched with the excircle of the U-shaped fork 9, the excircle 16 of the step of the U-shaped fork, the adjusting washer 12 and the excircle of the circular mounting hole 14, the reducing inner hole is sleeved on the excircle of the U-shaped fork 9, the adjusting washer 12 and the excircle of the circular mounting hole 14 and is fixed on the circular mounting hole 14 in a threaded manner, and the length of the inner hole part matched with the excircle 16 of the step of the U-shaped fork is the maximum range of the movement of the valve 8. Preferably, a plastic gasket 11 embedded on the inner wall of the port of the cap 13 is arranged between the cap 13 and the U-shaped fork 9 for sealing and preventing dust. The valve 8 is provided with an oil groove 3, the bushing 5 is provided with a high-pressure oil outlet 2 and a high-pressure oil inlet 4 which are communicated with the oil groove 3, and the inner cavity of the bushing 5 at the tail end of the small-distance end plug 15 is an oil return cavity 1. Under normal operating condition, the high-pressure oil outlet 2 is communicated with the oil groove 3, when the valve is limited at a small distance, the valve 8 moves to the outer end of the circular mounting opening 14 in place, and the small-distance end plug 15 just seals the high-pressure oil outlet 2. When the speed regulator is used, the oil return cavity 1 is directly communicated with an oil return hole 17 in a speed regulator shell, the high-pressure oil outlet 2 and the high-pressure oil inlet 4 are respectively connected with a high-pressure oil inlet of a speed regulator speed selection mechanism and a high-pressure oil outlet of a gear pump through a high-pressure oil hole in the shell, the outer end of the U-shaped fork is connected with a reverse paddle lever, and the reverse paddle lever is connected with the power rod and the propeller.

There are, of course, many other embodiments of the invention and modifications and variations of this invention that will be obvious to those skilled in the art may be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention, but it is intended to cover all such modifications and variations as fall within the true spirit and scope of the invention.
