1. A composition comprising at least one pharmaceutically acceptable and/or cosmetic and/or food grade excipient and/or technical additive and a mixture comprising or consisting of at least the following components:

(a) at least one isoflavone;

(b) at least one sterol; and

(c) apigenin.

2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the at least one isoflavone (a) is extracted from at least one plant belonging to the family Leguminosae, preferably belonging to one of the genera Glycine (Glycine), Phaseolus (Phaseolus), Medicago (Medicago), Vigna (Vigna), Pueraria (Pueraria) and/or Trifolium (Trifolium), more preferably belonging to the species Glycine max or Glycine soja.

3. A composition according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the isoflavones (a) are genistein, daidzein and combinations thereof, and/or the sterols (b) are β -sitosterol, cycloartanol and/or stigmasterol and combinations thereof.

4. The composition of claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein apigenin (c) is extracted from at least one plant of the genera chamomilla (Matricaria), Chamaemelum (Chamaemelum), celery (Apium), parsley (Petroselinum), Camellia (Camellia), and/or Citrus (Citrus).

A composition according to any preceding claim, wherein (a) is present in an amount of from 0.05 to 10%, and/or (b) is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 10%, and/or (c) is present in an amount of from 0.1 to 10%, wherein all amounts refer to the weight of the components relative to the total weight of the composition.

6. The composition of any of the preceding claims in the form of a cream, ointment, gel, solution, suspension, emulsion, powder, spray, gauze, patch, or other delivery form suitable for topical use.

7. The composition of any one of claims 1-6, comprising the following components:

a)

active ingredient Concentration: weight/total weight Sterols, or mixtures of sterols 2-3％ Apigenin 1.5-2.5％ Isoflavones 0.25-0.75％

Or

b)

Active ingredient Daily dose Sterols, or mixtures of sterols 2-3% (preferably 2.5%) Apigenin 1-2% (preferably 1.5%) Isoflavones 0.25-0.75% (preferably 0.5%)

Or

c)

Active ingredient Daily dose Sterols, or mixtures of sterols 2-3% (preferably 2.5%) Apigenin 0.1-1% (preferably 0.5-0.8%) Isoflavones 0.25-0.75% (preferably 0.5-0.6%)

8. Non-therapeutic use of a composition according to any of the preceding claims for reducing hair growth.

9. The composition of any one of claims 1-7 for use in the prevention and/or treatment of hirsutism, wherein said use comprises topical administration of said composition.

10. A pharmaceutical or cosmetic composition or a medical device comprising the composition of any one of claims 1-7.
