Technical Field

The invention relates to a baffle plate of an exhaust silencer, and belongs to the technical field of exhaust systems.

Background

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a baffle 100 'of an exhaust muffler in the related art generally includes a vertical main body 1' and a flanged portion 2 'bent perpendicularly from an outer edge of the main body 1', i.e., an included angle between the flanged portion 2 'and the main body 1' is 90 °. The main body 1 ' is provided with a through hole 11 ' in the middle and a muffling hole 12 ' surrounding the through hole 11 ', and the through hole 11 ' is used for welding with the core tube.

In assembly, the baffle 100 'is inserted into the housing such that the flange portion 2' is in surface contact with the inner wall of the housing. When in use, the core tube can be thermally deformed under the action of high-temperature exhaust; the through-hole region of the baffle 100 'is similarly rigidly connected by welding to the core tube, and therefore the through-hole region of the baffle 100' is also thermally deformed simultaneously with the core tube by the thermal stress. Because the flanging part 2 ' is in interference fit with the inner wall of the shell, the flanging part 2 ' cannot be subjected to thermal deformation synchronously with other areas of the baffle 100 ' due to the constraint force of the inner wall, so that the thermal deformation of the flanging part 2 ' and the through hole area is inconsistent, the deformation inconsistency can be gradually accumulated, and when the deformation accumulation exceeds the tensile strength of the welding seam of the core tube and the baffle 100 ', the welding seam can be cracked. After the welding seam of the core tube and the baffle 100 ' is cracked, the thermal deformation inconsistency of the through hole area of the baffle 100 ' and the flanging part 2 ' is larger and larger, and finally larger distortion deformation occurs, so that the product fails.

Disclosure of Invention

The invention aims to provide a baffle plate of an exhaust silencer, which can keep the deformation of a flanging area and other areas approximately consistent.

In order to achieve the purpose, the invention adopts the following technical scheme: a baffle of an exhaust muffler comprises a vertical main body part and a flanging area formed by bending the outer edge of the main body part, wherein the flanging area comprises a first flanging part; the first flanging part is obliquely arranged relative to the horizontal direction; the flanging area is also provided with a second flanging part formed by inwards bending the outer edge of the first flanging part, and the outer surface of the second flanging part is a round angle.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, an included angle alpha is formed between the first flanging part and the horizontal direction, and alpha is more than or equal to 2 degrees and less than or equal to 2.5 degrees.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the radius of the second flanging part is R, and R is more than or equal to 2.5mm and less than or equal to 3.5 mm.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the main body part is provided with a through hole in the center, and the through hole is used for installing the core tube.

As a further improved technical scheme of the invention, the main body part is provided with a plurality of silencing holes distributed on the periphery of the through hole.

Compared with the prior art, the first flanging part is obliquely arranged in comparison with the horizontal direction, so that line contact, not surface contact, can be formed between the first flanging part and the inner wall of the shell; in addition, the second flanging part formed by bending the outer edge of the first flanging part inwards is arranged, and the round angle of the outer surface of the second flanging part is in smooth contact with the inner wall of the shell instead of in sharp-angled contact; by the arrangement, the constraint of the inner wall of the shell on the deformation of the baffle is reduced, the deformation of the flanging area of the baffle is approximately consistent with that of other areas, and the condition of crack of the welding seam of the baffle and the core tube is eliminated.

Detailed Description

Referring to fig. 3 to 6, the present invention discloses a baffle 100 of an exhaust muffler, which includes a vertical main body 1 and a flanging region 2 bent from an outer edge of the main body 1.

The body 1 is provided with a through hole 11 at the center thereof, and the through hole 11 is used for installing a core tube (not shown). The main body 11 is further provided with a plurality of muffling holes 12 distributed on the periphery of the through hole 11.

The cuff area 2 includes a first cuff portion 21 and a second cuff portion 22 bent inward from an outer edge of the first cuff portion 21. The first flanging part 21 is obliquely arranged relative to the horizontal direction H, an included angle alpha is formed between the first flanging part 21 and the horizontal direction H, and alpha is larger than or equal to 2 degrees and smaller than or equal to 2.5 degrees. Compared with a right-angle flanging, the included angle alpha of the first flanging part 21 is beneficial to demoulding when the baffle 100 is subjected to punch forming, so that the yield is improved, and the cost of the baffle 100 is reduced to a certain extent. The outer surface of the second flanging part 22 is a round angle, the radius of the second flanging part 22 is R, and R is more than or equal to 2.5mm and less than or equal to 3.5 mm.

Compared with the prior art, the first flanging part 21 of the invention is obliquely arranged relative to the horizontal direction H, so that line contact, rather than surface contact, can be formed between the first flanging part 21 and the inner wall (not shown) of the shell, and thus sufficient interference fit force can be ensured. In addition, by providing the second burring part 22 formed by bending inward from the outer edge of the first burring part 21 and making a rounded corner of the outer surface of the second burring part 22 smoothly contact the inner wall of the case instead of a sharp corner, most of the thermal deformation resistance is eliminated. With the arrangement, the restriction of the inner wall of the shell on the deformation of the baffle 100 is reduced, the flanging area 2 of the baffle 100 can be easily subjected to thermal deformation, so that the deformation of the flanging area 2 of the baffle 100 is approximately consistent with that of other areas, and the condition that the welding seam of the baffle 100 and the core tube is cracked is eliminated.
