A transmission assembly (10) for a motor vehicle, the transmission assembly comprising: an electric machine (14) arranged in the first housing part (12); a second housing part (16) designed to accommodate a component (18) of the combustion-powered machine; a transmission (20) by means of which the electric machine (14) and the combustion-powered machine, in particular the component (18), can be connected to a driven shaft of the transmission (20) for transmitting torque;

and an intermediate shaft (22) which is connected to the output shaft for torque transmission and is designed to transmit torque to a differential (24) of the motor vehicle and/or to a drive axle of the motor vehicle,

wherein the two housing parts (12, 16) are connected to one another and form a common interior space (30) in which the transmission (20) is arranged and in which the intermediate shaft (22) is arranged at least partially,

the first housing part (12) has a mounting opening, through which the electric machine (14) can be inserted into and/or removed from the first housing part, and the opening is substantially closed by the intermediate wall (34).

the intermediate wall (34) is sealed to the first housing part (12) and/or the second housing part (16).

the components (18) of the combustion-powered machine are: a clutch; an oil supply device; a rotational uniformity system, such as a dual mass flywheel; a torsional vibration damper; a torsional damper; an all-wheel splitter and/or a torque converter transmission.

15. Method for assembling a transmission assembly, in particular a transmission assembly (10) according to one of the preceding claims, having at least the following steps:

-providing a first housing part (12), in particular a first housing part having only one assembly opening;

-inserting an electric machine (14) into the first housing part (12), in particular through the assembly opening;

-after insertion of the electric machine (14), arranging an intermediate wall (34) on the first housing part (12), wherein in particular the assembly opening is closed;

-supporting an intermediate shaft (22) on the intermediate wall on the electric machine (14) side after the intermediate wall (34) has been arranged on the first housing part (12);

-fastening a second housing piece (16) designed for accommodating a component (18) of a combustion-powered machine to the first housing piece (12) and/or the intermediate wall (34) so as to form an interior space (30), wherein preferably the intermediate shaft (22) is supported on a wall (42) of the second housing piece (16) on one side of the combustion-powered machine;

-arranging a transmission (20) in the interior space (30), wherein preferably the transmission (20) is supported with at least one element of a planetary gear set of the transmission (20) on the electric machine (14) side on the intermediate wall (34), and wherein preferably the transmission (20) is supported on the combustion-powered machine side on a wall (42) of the second housing part (16).
