Device (1) according to claim 1, characterized in that the pedal lever (2) is designed as a single lever part in the device case (4) which is directly connected with the cam follower, in particular with respect to a hole (22) in the protruding lever arm (21) formed by the pivot bearing, so that the lever arm (21) carries the pivot pin (6) with respect to the pivot bearing (7) for controlling the parking brake link with the pivot hinge (23).

5. Device (1) according to claim 1, wherein said forward guide (17) comprises at least one first spring (24), preferably two springs (24), acting as a torsion mechanism acting on said cam follower (4), said torsion mechanism being fixed on a transverse bar (30).

Device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the forward guide (17) is arranged on a lever, in particular a transverse lever (30), on a device box (19), at least one further second tension spring (25) on the same attack axis (26) on the cam follower (4) in the opposite direction to the first tension spring (24).

Device (1) according to claim 1, wherein the forward guide (17) comprises at least one blocking guide, such that the follower (11) circulates endlessly from the first portion (13) to the fourth portion (16) and provides at least one mechanical barrier; thus, the return movement of the cam follower (11) is locked in the previous part, in particular the mechanical lock comprises a ratchet.

Described herein is a device and method for parking brake operation, in particular for an agricultural vehicle, a commercial vehicle or a work machine, having a pedal lever with a pedal and a clamping mechanism. Methods of making the foregoing devices are also described.

Technical Field

The clamping mechanism is a mechanical actuator that can occupy two stable layers under compressive forces. The clamping mechanism may be implemented in a rotational or translational manner. The translational clamping mechanism is also implemented in conjunction with a switched heart as a mechanical component. The switching heart typically has circular closed grooves with islands forming the shape of the heart. The pin passes as a background when the switch is actuated in four stages around the circular closed slot. Switching the heart depends on the direction of the pulling force, so the suspension is arranged to rotate 180 °, for example in a clamping mechanism.

JP 2009234352 a describes a parking brake operating device having a clamp mechanism and a four-bar link, which are connected at three pivot points and each of which is suspended at an end. The ejector rod is provided with two return springs and an operating cable. The two return springs act in the same direction on the same pivot point through two different lever arms. The second, following, upper rod is guided in the cam body with the cam follower body. The cam body has an oblong cam portion with a lower shaft hook with a cam follower guided on an outer cam surface. The cam follower body has two rest positions. One position corresponds to an open brake and the second locked position corresponds to a set braking position. The pedal is arranged at the lowest position.

Described herein is a device and a method for parking brake operation, in particular for agricultural vehicles, commercial vehicles or work machines, which is a device having a simple assembly, efficient operation and a simplified role in production.

Disclosure of Invention

Described herein is a device and a method for parking brake operation, in particular for an agricultural vehicle, a commercial vehicle or a work machine, formed with a pedal lever with a pedal having a clamping mechanism, in particular of translational design, comprising at least one cam follower with a pivot pin. A pedal lever is pivotally mounted on the pivot pin and has a return means biasing the pedal lever, wherein a cam follower runs in a trained switch core circumferential slot, having the characteristic curve of a cam member, wherein a first portion of the characteristic curve is open parking brake, a second portion is for supplying a closed parking brake, a third portion wherein the parking brake is locked, and a fourth portion to return to an open parking brake. The cam follower is formed with at least one positive guide and a characteristic curve such that upon a first actuation of the pedal in the raised position with the parking brake open, the cam follower may be diverted from the first section to the second section and depressed and locked in the third closed parking brake section, and in a second actuation of the depressed pedal, the cam follower from the third section may be converted into a fourth section until it may be fixed again in the first section with the parking brake open.

More preferably, the device comprises a device case, in particular a pivot pin, on which a pedal lever is tiltably mounted, arranged across the width of the device case. A more preferred option is to form a return device return spring that biases the pedal lever and is secured to the cross bar across the width of the device case.

The device can thus be constructed as a simplified module in a working machine.

The mode of operation of the device is substantially reduced to two pivotable components, the pedal lever and the cam follower acting as a clamping mechanism and simplified. These two components are special components. All other components are basically standard components. The pedal lever is therefore basically designed as the only pivotable lever part in the device housing, which is connected to the curve element. The pedal lever is preferably formed in an angular U-shape with a long base length in side view. The pedal lever has a hole and a pivot bearing on a specially projecting lever arm links with the parking brake controlled by the pivot bolt and rotates the U-shape of the hinge at the leg end.

In order to increase the effectiveness of the device and the operating method, the first and in particular the third portion have a concave form in the cam follower, with at least one, preferably two, diameters of the cam follower substantially in the direction of the suspension axis of the cam follower. This creates an improved tactile sensation at a stable pedal position and better communicates the position of the pedal to the user.
