Background

Aiming at the welding of large-diameter stainless steel, the current welding process is as follows:

1. the welding method is a single-side welding and double-side forming process of argon tungsten-arc welding bottoming and manual electric arc welding filling cover surface.

2. The groove form is V type groove, and the both sides of weldment connection face are all polished and are opened 30 ~ 35 groove, and the groove truncated edge is 2 mm.

3. The back of the argon tungsten-arc welding back cover and the filling welding of the sublayer are filled with inert protective gas, in order to save argon gas and improve the protection effect when the back is protected by the inert protective gas, argon gas chamber tools of various specifications are required to be manufactured according to pipeline specifications, an argon gas chamber is required to be installed before welding, and the argon gas chamber is required to be removed in time after welding so as to avoid causing foreign matters.

However, the existing single-sided and double-sided forming process has difficulty in filling argon due to large pipe diameter and large consumption of argon, and the time and cost for manufacturing a special argon chamber are high.

and S3, after the synchronous welding is finished, carrying out quality detection on the back of the stainless steel welding seam.

Preferably, in S1, the first welding torch and the second welding torch are offset from each other.

Preferably, in S2, before the first welding gun performs the front welding of the stainless steel bead, the stainless steel bead needs to be filled with a metal.

Further preferably, in S2, when the thickness of the backing weld metal exceeds 5mm, the second welding gun stops operating.

As a further preferred feature, in S2, when the second welding gun stops operating, the first welding gun continues to operate until the welding of the stainless steel weld is completed.
