Technical Field

The invention relates to the technical field of medicinal chemistry, in particular to application of D609 in preparation of a medicament for inhibiting cell iron death.

Background

D609 (tricyclodecane-9-yl-xanthenate) is a specific inhibitor of phosphatidylcholine-specific phospholipase C (PC-PLC), can specifically and efficiently inhibit the activity of PC-PLC without influencing the activities of phosphatidylinositol-specific phospholipase C and phospholipase D, has a series of biological functions and activities such as antivirus, anticancer, anti-inflammatory and anti-apoptosis and the like, and thus becomes a good tool for researching the functions of PC-PLC. However, the compounds have been neglected to possess both a lipophilic organic backbone and a thiol-like reducing group. In the existing research reports on D609, D609 is mostly used as a tool for researching PC-PLC, but the inhibition of lipid peroxidation by D609 is not reported.

Disclosure of Invention

In order to solve one of the problems, the invention provides application of D609 in preparing a medicament for inhibiting cell iron death.

To this end, in a first aspect of the invention, the invention proposes the use of D609 in the manufacture of a medicament for inhibiting cellular iron death.

The research shows that the occurrence of cell iron death is finally caused by lipid peroxidation of cell membranes, and the inhibition of lipid peroxidation can effectively block the occurrence of cell iron death. According to the embodiment of the invention, D609 can effectively inhibit cell iron death caused by lipid peroxidation, and has no side effect at all and cannot cause cell death when the concentration is higher than the effective concentration.

In a second aspect of the invention, the invention proposes the use of D609 in the preparation of an inhibitor for lipid peroxidation.

According to the embodiment of the invention, the D609 is used in an amount of 16.67. mu.M.
