Disclosure of Invention

Problems to be solved by the invention

However, in the device disclosed in patent document 1, since the lamp unit is attached to the mirror housing only by the engagement between the engaging claw and the locking portion without the need of screw fastening, when an impact is applied to the mirror housing from the outside, the engagement between the engaging claw and the locking portion is released, and the lamp unit may fall off from the mirror housing.

The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and an object thereof is to provide a door mirror device capable of preventing a lamp unit from falling off a mirror housing even when an impact or the like from the outside is applied to the mirror housing.

Means for solving the problems

In order to achieve the above object, the present invention is a door mirror device including: a mirror case having a mirror housing recess for housing a mirror; and a lamp unit having a side turn lamp with a part facing a slit formed in the mirror housing, wherein an engaging claw provided on one of the lamp unit and the mirror housing is engaged with an engaging portion provided on the other of the lamp unit and the mirror housing, and the mirror housing includes: a case main body having the mirror housing recess and supported to be rotatable by a base member attached to a side door of a vehicle; and a cover attached to the housing main body so as to cover the housing main body from a side opposite to an opening direction of the mirror housing recess, the cover having the slit formed therein, the cover being provided with a restricting portion that restricts displacement of the engagement claw from the engagement portion in an engagement/disengagement direction.

In addition to the configuration of the first aspect, the present invention is characterized in claim 2 in that the engaging claw is integrally provided on the case main body, and the restricting portion is integrally provided on the cover so as to protrude in a rib shape toward the case main body so as to be close to and opposed to the engaging claw when the cover is attached to the case main body.

In addition to the configuration of the second aspect, the present invention is characterized in that in the third aspect, the restricting portion has a guide portion that guides the attachment of the cover to the housing body by coming into contact with a distal end portion of the engaging claw when the cover is attached to the housing body.

Effects of the invention

According to the first aspect of the present invention, since the displacement of the engagement claw from the locking portion in the engagement releasing direction is restricted by the restricting portion, the lamp unit can be attached to the housing main body of the mirror housing by the engagement of the engagement claw with the locking portion, so that the cost can be reduced, and the lamp unit can be prevented from falling off from the housing main body of the mirror housing even if an impact or the like from the outside is applied to the mirror housing.

Further, according to the 2 nd aspect of the present invention, since the engaging claw is integrally provided in the case main body and the restricting portion that is adjacent to and faces the engaging claw is integrally provided in the cover so as to protrude in a rib shape toward the case main body when the cover is attached to the case main body, the displacement of the engaging claw in the engagement releasing direction can be restricted only by attaching the cover to the case main body.

Further, according to the 3 rd aspect of the present invention, when the cover is attached to the housing main body, the guide portion of the restricting portion comes into contact with the distal end portion of the engaging claw, thereby guiding the attachment of the cover to the housing main body side.

The 1 st guide portion 47a abuts against the distal end portion of the 1 st engagement claw 28 when the cover 15 is attached to the case main body 14, thereby guiding attachment of the cover 15 to the case main body 14 side, and the 2 nd guide portion 48a abuts against the distal end portion of the 2 nd engagement claw 29 when the cover 15 is attached to the case main body 14, thereby guiding attachment of the cover 15 to the case main body 14 side.

Further, in the vicinity of the base end portion 12a of the mirror housing 12, the upper portion of the lamp unit 20 is positioned by the distal end portion 41a of the positioning arm 41 engaging with the 1 st positioning projection 44 and the 2 nd positioning projection 45 of the distal end portion of the 4 th projection 43, even if an impact is applied to the distal end portion 12b of the mirror housing 12 from the outside, there is a low possibility that the engagement of the 3 rd engagement claw 30 with the 3 rd locking portion 33 is released, and the possibility that an impact is directly applied to the base end portion 12a of the mirror housing 12 from the outside is also low, and therefore, in this embodiment, the restricting portion that restricts the displacement of the 3 rd engaging pawl 30 from the 3 rd locking portion 33 in the engagement/disengagement direction is not provided in the lower cover member 17 of the cover 15, however, as shown by the chain line in fig. 7, the 3 rd restricting portion 49 may be integrally provided on the lower cover member 17.

Next, the operation of this embodiment will be described, in which the 1 st engaging claw 28 and the 2 nd engaging claw 29 provided on the housing main body 14 of the mirror housing 12 are engaged with the 1 st engaging portion 31 and the 2 nd engaging portion 32 provided on the lamp unit 20, and the 1 st restricting portion 47 and the 2 nd restricting portion 48 are provided on the cover 15 constituting the mirror housing 12 in cooperation with the housing main body 14, and the 1 st restricting portion 47 and the 2 nd restricting portion 48 restrict the 1 st engaging claw 28 and the 2 nd engaging claw 29 from being displaced from the 1 st engaging portion 31 and the 2 nd engaging portion 32 in the engagement/disengagement direction, so that when the lamp unit 20 is attached to the housing main body 14 of the mirror housing 12, the 1 st engaging claw 28 and the 2 nd engaging claw 29 are engaged with the 1 st engaging portion 31 and the 2 nd engaging portion 32 to reduce the cost, and even if an impact or the like from the outside is applied to the mirror housing 12, the lamp unit 20 can be prevented from falling off the housing main body 14 of the mirror housing 12.

Further, since the 1 st engaging pawl 28 and the 2 nd engaging pawl 29 are integrally provided in the housing main body 14, and the 1 st restricting portion 47 and the 2 nd restricting portion 48 are integrally provided in the upper cover member 16 and the lower cover member 17 of the cover 15 so as to protrude in a rib shape toward the housing main body 14 side so as to be close to and opposed to the 1 st engaging pawl 28 and the 2 nd engaging pawl 29 when the cover 15 is attached to the housing main body 14, displacement of the 1 st engaging pawl 28 and the 2 nd engaging pawl 29 in the engagement release direction can be restricted only by attaching the cover 15 to the housing main body 14.

Further, since the 1 st and 2 nd guide portions 47a and 48a are formed in the 1 st and 2 nd restricting portions 47 and 48, and the 1 st and 2 nd guide portions 47a and 48a guide the attachment of the cover 15 to the case main body 14 side by coming into contact with the distal end portions of the 1 st and 2 nd engaging claws 28 and 29 when the cover 15 is attached to the case main body 14, the attachment of the cover 15 to the case main body 14 is facilitated, and a dedicated guide portion is not required to be provided in the cover 15 other than the 1 st and 2 nd restricting portions 47 and 48, and the molding cost of the cover 15 can be reduced.

While the embodiments of the present invention have been described above, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and various design changes can be made without departing from the spirit thereof.
