Detailed Description

The embodiments disclosed in the present invention are explained below with reference to the drawings. In addition, the embodiments described below do not unduly limit the disclosure of the invention set forth in the patent claims. The constituent elements shown in the embodiments are not necessarily essential to the disclosure of the present invention.

(examples)

As shown in fig. 1, the transmission system 1 according to the present embodiment includes a transmission server 100, a game server 200, a plurality of transmitter terminals 300, and a plurality of viewer terminals 400. The transmission server 100, the game server 200, the plurality of transmitter terminals 300, and the plurality of viewer terminals 400 are connected to each other via a network NW, and thereby communication is realized. The network NW may be, for example, a WAN (World area network).

The transmission server 100 provides a transmission service through the network NW. The transmission server 100 transmits a transmission screen including a live view screen of a game of a transmitter, i.e., a player, and comments received from viewers to the transmitter terminal 300 and the viewer terminal 400 in a live broadcast manner. The transmission includes not only player initiated transmissions but also official transmissions. The viewer chooses which transmission to watch at his discretion.

The transmitter terminal 300 used by the player displays a transmission screen of the player. In other words, the transmission screen transmitted to the transmitter terminal 300 is substantially the same as the transmission screen transmitted to the viewer terminal 400. However, since some functions are only used by the transmitter or only used by the viewer, the display contents are partially different due to the above functions.

The game server 200 provides a network game through the network NW. The network game is operated by a transmitter, i.e., a player, using the transmitter terminal 300. The operator of the network game, which is the manager of the game server 200, and the transmission service operator, which is the manager of the transmission server 100, may be the same operator or different operators.

The network game has a plurality of players participating simultaneously, and the players can cooperate with each other or can be in a mutual match when advancing the game. After information war elements are integrated into the network game, the network game is more attractive. In this case, it is possible to excite a plurality of players who transmit a live game screen and viewers who issue comments including useful information for the transmission to enjoy the same.

The transmitter terminal 300 is used by a transmitter who participates in a network game and transmits a live picture of the game. The transmitter terminal 300 is a device having a communication function such as a personal computer, a tablet terminal, and a smart phone.

The viewer terminal 400 is a device having a communication function such as a personal computer, a tablet terminal, and a smartphone. The spectator terminal 400 is used by spectators viewing a transmission screen showing the live play of a player game.

< Structure of Transmission Server >

Next, the configuration of the transmission server 100 will be described in detail. As shown in fig. 2, the delivery server 100 includes: a communication unit 110 for communicating with other devices, a storage unit 120 for storing various data, a time counting unit 130 for counting time, and a control unit 140 for controlling the whole equipment. The above components are all connected to each other by a bus BL.

The communication unit 110 is a communication Interface including an NIC (Network Interface controller) for performing wired communication or wireless communication. The communication unit 110 communicates with the transmitter terminal 300 and the viewer terminal 400 via the network NW.

The Memory unit 120 includes a RAM (random access Memory), a ROM (Read Only Memory), and the like. The storage unit 120 stores programs for executing various control processes, various data, and the like.

The timer unit 130 includes an electronic oscillator and a variable PLL (Phase Locked Loop) for generating a clock signal, a clock circuit for counting the number of pulses of the clock signal, and the like. The timer section 130 calculates time based on the calculated number of pulses.

The control Unit 140 is constituted by a CPU (Central Processing Unit) or the like. The control unit 140 controls the overall operation of the delivery server 100 by executing the program stored in the storage unit 120. The control section 140 performs various controls based on the time obtained by the number of pulses counted by the timer section 130. The control unit 140 also calculates the transmission time based on the time measured by the time measuring unit 130, or determines whether a predetermined time (e.g., an estimated transmission time) has elapsed.

Next, a functional configuration of the control unit 140 will be described. The function of the control section 140 is realized by: the live view acquisition unit 141, the comment receiving unit 142, the transmission unit 143, the display state control unit 144, the setting receiving unit 145, the evaluation acquisition unit 146, and the attribute information acquisition unit 147.

The live broadcast acquisition unit 141 acquires a live broadcast of the game. For example, the live-action acquisition unit 141 acquires a game live action based on image analysis of a game live action screen or audio analysis of sound during a game. In this case, the communication unit 110 may acquire the live game screen or the in-progress sound from the transmitter terminal 300 or the game server 200. When image analysis or audio analysis is performed, the storage unit 120 stores pattern information such as an image pattern and an audio pattern, and the live-action acquisition unit 141 compares the pattern information with an image or audio of a game-action in progress to recognize the game-action.

The live broadcast acquisition unit 141 may acquire a live broadcast of the game based on an input received from a game manager (operator). For example, the transmission server 100 may be provided with an input unit for receiving the input, or may communicate with the communication unit 110 via the carrier communication terminal for receiving the input.

The live broadcast acquiring unit 141 may acquire a live broadcast of the game from the result of content analysis of the comment received from the comment receiving unit 142. For example, the live-action acquiring unit 141 may acquire a live action of the game according to the condition when there is a comment distribution including a specific keyword or when the number of distributions of the comments exceeds a predetermined number. For example, the above-described acquisition method can be realized by storing a correspondence table of predetermined conditions and the game-play-status corresponding to the predetermined conditions in the storage unit 120, and extracting the game-play status from the correspondence table by the live-play acquisition unit 141. The prescribed condition may be set as a condition relating to the number of comments or the comment content. The live-action acquiring unit 141 may acquire the live action of the game by receiving information on the live action of the game, such as physical strength, state, equipment, and ability value of a character used by the player, from the game server 200.

The comment receiving unit 142 communicates with the viewer terminal 400 via the communication unit 110, and receives comments posted by viewers in a plurality of transmissions. The comment receiving unit 142 may be configured to communicate with the sender terminal 300 and receive a comment issued by the sender.

The transmission section 143 transmits a transmission screen including the acquired game live screen and the comment received by the comment receiving section 142. The transmission unit 143 may directly acquire the live game screen of the player from the game server 200 or indirectly acquire the live game screen of the player from the transmitter terminal 300 via the communication unit 110. The transmission unit 143 also transmits audio information such as game sound and sound input by the transmitter to the transmitter terminal 300.

The display state control unit 144 controls the display state of the comment on the transmission screen based on the live game scene acquired by the live scene acquisition unit 141. For example, the display state control unit 144 controls the display state of any one or more of the color, font size, font style, and frame of the comment on the transmission screen in accordance with the game presence.

The display state control section 144 may also add a recognition mark or a special effect to the comment displayed in the transmission screen in accordance with the game live situation acquired by the live situation acquisition section 141. The identification may be a symbol, mark, or the like added to the comment. The special effect can be the change, luminescence, flicker, etc. of the comment frame.

Specifically, the display state control section 144 controls the display state of the comment based on the image analysis or audio analysis result. The control object is a display state of the comment in a default state.

The display state control section 144 also controls the display state of each comment according to the comment content. The control object is not a display state of the comment in the default state. For example, when a specific keyword or information indicating an emergency is included in the posted comment, only this comment is changed to a display state different from that in the default state. In other words, the control can be applied independently of the above-described control of the comment display state in the default state, or can be applied in a superimposed manner.

In addition, the color may be changed in the overall control performed based on the game scene (such as image analysis or audio analysis), and the font size may be changed without changing the color in the individual control performed based on the comment content. Thus, if the two controls respectively control different display states, the user can recognize that the two controls are superimposed and applied.

Even if both controls the same display state, the user can recognize that both controls are applied in a superimposed manner because the comment applied in the superimposed manner is displayed in the display state after the superimposed application. For example, the display state control unit 144 may display a comment in purple by executing control (red) based on the game status and control (blue) based on the comment content on a normal comment (white). Similarly, the display state control unit 144 may cause the normal comment (10-point character) to be displayed at 12 points by executing the control based on the game status (1 point enlargement) and the control based on the comment content (1 point enlargement).

When the game live scene acquired by the live scene acquisition section 141 indicates an emergency, the display state control section 144 may cause the comment to be displayed in a specific color. When the relevant control is performed based on the game live (image analysis or audio analysis), all the comments can be controlled; when the related control is performed based on the analysis of the comment content, control may be performed only for comments satisfying the condition.

Emergency situations include any one or more of the following: approaching enemies, being attacked by enemies, trapping players, paroxysmal or trapping friends. The enemy approach may be: a distance from another player is within a predetermined range, and the enemy is about to encounter the enemy, and the enemy is set as a remote hitting object.

The setting receiving unit 145 receives a setting corresponding to the classification of the live game. The setting is reflected in the correspondence table of the storage unit 120. When the classification setting is executed, the display state control unit 144 causes the comment regarding the live game to be displayed in a display state corresponding to the classification setting. The classification setting contents may be received from the transmitter terminal 300 to which the player is applied. The classification setting may be previously set by the transmission service operator in addition to the user, and the classification is automatically performed according to the game situation.

Thereby, the display state control unit 144 displays the comment posted by the viewer in the display state corresponding to the category. For example, the comments in the battle of the player are displayed in orange, the comments in imminent casualty are displayed in red, and the above comments or the color of the frame thereof is displayed in the color corresponding to the category on the game-live-action screen.

The display state control section 144 may also change the display correspondence for each comment based on the text analysis. For example, the display state control unit 144 displays a comment including information indicating that an enemy is approaching green, displays a comment including information indicating that another player is imminent death in a specific color (for example, red), and displays a comment including information (request for reduction or assistance) on a friend player in blue. Thus, the transmission server 100 sets different colors for each category, and the user does not need to issue comments after distinguishing the colors according to the own rules. At this time, since the comments are displayed in different colors for each category, the player can instantaneously acquire information that the player wants to know.

In addition, the set contents classified according to the analysis result of the comment contents may vary depending on the game situation. In other words, the display state of the comment can be changed in conjunction with the game situation at the time of posting the comment and the result of determination for each comment.

The evaluation acquisition unit 146 acquires the evaluation of the comment reliability by the viewer or the player. When the evaluation acquisition unit 146 acquires the evaluation of the comment reliability, the display state control unit 144 controls the display state of the comment to be posted by the comment publisher in the future based on the evaluation.

For example, when a comment difficult to be distinguished from being false is issued, the evaluation acquisition section 146 acquires an evaluation that the viewer or the transmitter adds a "true" or "false" label to the comment. The display state control unit 144 limits comments to be posted in the future for a comment to which a "false" tag is added a plurality of times. For example, the display state control section 144 allows only one third of the comments it issues in the future to be displayed. On the other hand, for a person who has added a "true" tag to a posted comment a plurality of times, the display state control section 144 displays the comment to be posted in the future at a conspicuous position.

The attribute information acquisition unit 147 acquires attribute information including any one or more of the following: audience profile information, focus information, support information indicating supported players. When the attribute information acquisition unit 147 acquires the attribute information, the display state control unit 144 controls the display state of the comment based on the attribute information.

The attribute information may be changed by the viewer during the course of the process or may not be filled in. The attribute information may further include any one or more of the following information: whether the spectator is a channel member, the age of the spectator playing the game, and the amount of distribution support messages.

The display state control section 144 may display the viewer's comment as a color corresponding to the display state on the transmission screen of the official transmission according to the game live and the comment content. Official transmissions are transmissions initiated by game sponsors, the service provider, etc. from a stand independent of the players participating in the game.

Official transmission can be carried out from the viewpoint of one of the players, and the whole overlooking picture of the overlooking game live can be transmitted. The official transmission can also transmit the pictures of all the player states seen from the perspective of the virtual camera, or can confirm the pictures of a plurality of player states.

The viewer's posted comments may be displayed in a variety of modes. For example, the display state control unit 144 may display a transmission screen of comments issued for a live game scene transmitted by a player in a superimposed manner on the transmission screen.

The display state control section 144 may also display the comments of the viewers in a chat window other than the game live screen. In addition, besides the chat window, a plurality of virtual avatars corresponding to a plurality of audiences can be displayed, and after the audiences publish comments, the corresponding virtual avatars can spit bubbles, and the comments are displayed in the virtual avatars.

At this time, the control of the comment display state by the display state control section 144 may include display control of the comment accompanying information. For example, the display state control unit 144 may control the display state of the user information of the viewer who issues the comment based on the game live state or the comment content.

The user information is used for identifying the audience who posts the comment, and comprises any one or more of the following information: user name, user ID, avatar, and the like. User information may be displayed in a chat window. The user information may be displayed in another screen when the viewer or the transmitter clicks on the posted comment or information related to the comment. The user information may also be displayed overlapping the transmission screen.

< specific examples of the transmission screen and the live game screen >

Next, specific examples of the transmission screen and the game-live screen will be described with reference to fig. 3 to 5.

Fig. 3 is a diagram showing a specific example of a transmission screen for each player. Fig. 3(a) shows a transmission screen of player a, and fig. 3(B) shows a transmission screen of player B. The above-described screen shows a state in which the character 10 operated by the player a and the character 20 operated by the player B fight against each other with the obstacle 40 interposed therebetween. This view shows a space in which player a and player B fight in the game. Further, although not shown, the player C (not shown) is not present on the transmission screen, but participates in the same in-game space.

Specifically, FIG. 3(A) shows a character 20 representing player B, holding a weapon like a gun; further forward than the character 20 is an obstacle 40. The figure does not display the character 10 of the player a (the perspective of the character 10). The 4 comments 30, 50, 60, 70 are all comments posted by the spectator for the transmission of player a. The comments 30, 50, 60, and 70 are displayed superimposed on the game-live screen, and flow from right to left on the transmission screen.

On the other hand, fig. 3(B) shows a character 10 representing player a, holding a weapon like a stick. Further forward than the character 10 is an obstacle 40. The figure does not display the player B's own character 20 because the view (of the character 20) is adopted. Comments 80, 90 are both comments posted by the spectator for the transmission of player B. The comments 80 and 90 are displayed superimposed on the game scene screen, and flow from right to left on the transmission screen.

In this example, the correspondence table of the transmission server 100 registers a game play and a comment color corresponding thereto. The correspondence table of the transmission server 100 also registers comment content (specific keyword) and a comment font size, color, and frame corresponding thereto. The transmission server 100 performs control of the comment display state based on the above-described correspondence table. Thus, the comment or border color is displayed as a plurality of colors. However, in fig. 3 and fig. 4 to be mentioned later, a plurality of colors are displayed in gray scale by being limited to the illustration.

Specifically, in fig. 3(a), the comments 30, 50 are displayed in the display state in the default state. Comment 60, on the other hand, represents information that other players, i.e., player C, are approaching. Therefore, by controlling in accordance with the comment content, the comment 60 is displayed in a color different from the display state in the default state and in a larger font size than in the default state. The comment 70 indicates information that the other player, i.e., player C, is in trouble. Therefore, the frame of the comment 70 is a bold frame line, and is displayed in a more conspicuous form than in the default state.

By controlling the display state as described above, the comments 60, 70 indicating the other user-related information can be easily recognized from the plurality of comments 30, 50, 60, 70 displayed on the transmission screen. In addition, the color discrimination method or the font size variation is not limited to the above examples.

The transmission picture can also display information of weapons, physical strength, state and the like of each player besides the game live picture. Thus, the spectator can easily collect information on the weapon, the position, the comment content, and the like of the player.

In fig. 3(B), the comments 80, 90 show the display states in the default state. However, as the game is in the live state, the physical strength of the player B is lower than a predetermined numerical value, and the player B is in a state of getting into trouble. Therefore, the comments 80 and 90 displayed in the default state are displayed in different colors from the comments 30 and 50 displayed in the default state in fig. 3 (a). Because player B is not physically normal but is in an moribund state.

By the control of the display state described above, the comments 80, 90 are displayed on the transmission screen in a display state corresponding to the live game situation. At this time, the play status can be clearly grasped by reviewing the colors of the comments 80 and 90, and the display effect can be improved.

Fig. 4 shows an example of a transmission screen (overhead screen) of official transmission. In this example, the display state control unit 144 integrates comments transmitted to both of the player a and the player B, and generates a transmission screen for overlooking the entire live game.

The transmission screen is a live game screen viewed from the virtual camera, and overlooks the play situation of player a and player B. For example, the viewer can confirm the positional relationship between the character 10 of player a, the character 20 of player B, and the obstacle 40 by viewing the transmission screen of the official transmission.

As shown in fig. 4, even in the official transmission, the comments 30, 50, and 80 posted on the two transmission screens are all displayed in the same display state as fig. 3(a), 3 (B). The official transmission may also display comments other than the display status on each player transmission screen.

Here, referring to fig. 5, a modified embodiment of the transmission screen is explained. This embodiment shows a player a transmission screen transmitted from the transmission server 100 and displayed on the spectator terminal 400. In this embodiment, the commentary posted by the spectator for the transmission of player a is displayed in display area a20 of the chat window, rather than in display area a10 of the game-live view. In addition, the display area a30 shows an interface for viewers to post comments. Since the display area a30 is a function used by the viewer, it is not necessarily displayed on the transmitter terminal 300 of player a. On the other hand, after the player a is out of commission, the area a30 can be displayed on the transmitter terminal 300 of the player a, and the player a can issue a comment.

In the chat window of this example, viewer C's comment is shown with a label P1 to the left. In the control of the display state, a comment including a specific keyword is highlighted, and the specific keyword is registered in the correspondence table by means of the mark P1. The display state control unit 144 may change the avatar P2 to highlight a comment including a specific keyword. The display-status control section 144 may also highlight the comment by changing the comment font or font size in the chat window.

< treatment Process >

Next, an example in which the transmission server 100 executes control processing is explained with reference to fig. 6. This process is executed after the game is started.

First, the live game field acquisition unit 141 of the control unit 140 acquires a live game field (step S101). The comment receiving section 142 receives the comment posted by the viewer (step S102).

The transmission unit 143 of the control unit 140 transmits a transmission screen including the live game screen and the comment received by the comment receiving unit 142 to the transmitter terminal 300 and the viewer terminal 400 (step S103). At this time, audio information such as a game sound or a sound input by the transmitter is also transmitted. The display state control unit 144 of the control unit 140 controls the display state of the comment on the transmission screen transmitted by the transmission unit 143, based on the live game scene acquired by the live scene acquisition unit 141 (step S104).

< description of Effect >

In the transmission system 1 according to the present embodiment, the transmission server 100 that transmits the live game scene includes the live scene acquisition unit 141 that acquires the live game scene, and the display state control unit 144 that controls the comment display state based on the live game scene acquired by the live scene acquisition unit 141. Therefore, the transmission system 1 can transmit the live game screen and display the comment issued by the viewer in accordance with the display state corresponding to the live game. Thereby increasing the interest.

Here, if live video of a network game is transmitted, the transmitter, i.e., the player, can advance the game by referring to the comments posted by the spectators. However, as the number of comments increases, the player easily overlooks important comments corresponding to the actual game situation. The audience can easily see the important comments, and the method is more attractive. Therefore, the important comments corresponding to the game live are displayed in a simple and clear display state, and the game is more attractive.

This is controlled by the display state control section 144 of the transmission server 100 according to the comment content, for each comment, in the display state. Therefore, the important comments can be made clear to the player or the audience who views the transmission screen.

The above description of the embodiment ends, but the above embodiment is only an example. Therefore, the specific structure, processing contents, and the like of the transmission system 1 are not limited to those explained in the above-described embodiments. Next, a modification of the above embodiment will be described, and the same reference numerals will be used to describe the components common to the transmission system 1 according to the embodiment.

(modification example)

The order in which the transmission server 100 executes the control processing is not limited to the example of fig. 6. For example, a live game may be acquired after the transmission screen is transmitted, and the display state of the transmission screen may be controlled. The control of the comment display state may also be performed before the transmission of the transmission screen. In other words, the order of the control processing can be changed as appropriate.

In the above-described embodiment, the control of causing the transmission screen to be displayed, the control of the transmission screen display state are both performed by the transmission server 100. However, the above control may be performed by the transmitter terminal 300 or the viewer terminal 400. The above-described control may also be cooperatively performed by the transmission server 100 and the transmitter terminal 300 or the viewer terminal 400.

The live acquisition section 141 and the display state control section 144 may be provided on the transmitter terminal 300 or the viewer terminal 400 instead of the transmission server 100. If the transmission screen display state displayed by the transmitter terminal 300 or the viewer terminal 400 can be controlled based on the viewing state acquired by the live view acquisition section 141, the execution subject of the control processing can be constantly changed as appropriate.

In the transmission server 1 according to the above embodiment, the transmitter terminal 300 and the viewer terminal 400 are different in structure and can be distinguished from each other. However, the above-described respective device components may be combined, and the device may be configured to function as a transmitter terminal and a viewer terminal.

In addition, the transmission system disclosed by the invention can realize the functions by executing programs through a computer besides the device. The program for realizing the functions of the transmission system 1 may be stored in a computer-readable recording medium such as a USB (Universal Serial Bus) Memory, a CD-ROM (Compact Disc-Read Only Memory), a DVD (digital versatile Disc), an HDD (Hard disk Drive), or the like, or may be downloaded to a computer via a network.

While the disclosure has been described with reference to specific embodiments, it is not intended to be limited to the specific embodiments disclosed, but it is intended to cover modifications within the scope and spirit of the invention as defined by the appended claims. The device configurations described in the above embodiments and modifications can be appropriately combined without technical contradiction.
