Detailed Description

An embodiment of a package for a trading card and a method for manufacturing the same according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.

In the manufacturing process of the trading card 4 according to the present embodiment, it is preferable that the process management system 400 performs a series of process management from the order reception to the shipment. In the present embodiment, a manufacturing process using such a process control system 400 will be described. The process management system 400 is a computer provided with a program.

Fig. 1 is a diagram showing a case where a plurality of trading cards according to the present embodiment are packed. The trading cards of the present invention are classified into predetermined rarity RMs, information on the classified rarity RMs is given to the trading cards, and the trading cards classified into different rarity RMs are packed into one package 1 according to a predetermined rule combination.

The rareness RM of the trading card according to the present embodiment means that the more rareness RM is, the higher the value of the card in the game. The types of the rareness degree RM vary depending on the game, and the types of the rareness degree RM in the present embodiment include five types: the rare degree RM is higher than the rare degree R, and the super rare degree (HR) with the highest rare degree RM.

Fig. 2 shows the following: the card base paper 20 according to the present embodiment is printed with a surface pattern having the same rarity RM for each base paper in a predetermined layout, printed with a back pattern for the back, cut into individual cards by a cutter, and then loaded into the loading cylinder 101 in the order of distribution to the card base paper (the card base paper is repeatedly placed in the order of 1 to 56 in fig. 2 three times or more). Accordingly, the trading cards 4 are repeatedly placed into the input drum 101 in the order that should occur. Further, the same surface pattern of the same rarity RM is printed on the same card base paper, but different surface patterns may be printed on the same card base paper.

Next, a gang and packing process according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described.

Fig. 3 is a diagram showing a schematic configuration of a manufacturing method centered on the gang setter 100 used when packing the trading cards 4 in the process of manufacturing the trading cards 4 according to the present embodiment. As shown in fig. 3, the stacker 100 includes a deck insertion cylinder 101, a conveyer 102, a conveyer moving roller 103, a card receiving portion 104, and a camera 105. Further, in the deck insertion cylinder 101a in fig. 3, the common C trading cards 4 are placed in the same order as in fig. 1, the non-common U trading cards 4 are placed in the insertion cylinder 101b, the rare R trading cards 4 are placed in the insertion cylinder 101C, the rare SR trading cards 4 are placed in the insertion cylinder 101d, and the super rare HR trading cards are placed in the insertion cylinder 101 e.

In the configuration of fig. 3, the configuration in which the deck insertion cylinder 101 includes six cylinders is illustrated, but the number of cylinders is arbitrary. Further, a deck of the cards 7 to which the package ID3 is assigned is placed in the most downstream cylinder (deck drop cylinder 101f in fig. 3). Note that the package ID3 may be given only to the package 1, or the package ID3 may be given to the package 1 itself while enclosing the card 7 given the package ID 3. When the slip card is set, the belt 102 slides with the rotation of the roller 103, and the slip card 2 is discharged from the deck insertion cylinder 101 onto the belt 102. The number of discharged sheets and the distribution of the discharge rarity RM are determined in advance in the combination of all the tubes. Then, a predetermined number of replacement cards 4 are discharged at a predetermined timing from the discharge devices 301a to 301f attached to the respective input cylinders 101 in accordance with a signal from the replacement card discharge management device 300. For example, in the case of the loading method of the exchangeable cards of fig. 1, three cards are discharged from the input cylinder 101a, two cards are discharged from the input cylinders 101b to 101e at a predetermined probability, one card 7 to which a pack ID is given is discharged from the input cylinder 101b to 101e, and six cards are discharged and packed in fig. 3.

Further, in the deck insertion cylinder 101, the exchangeable cards are placed so that the surface thereof faces upward (toward the camera 106). Each time a card 4 falls onto the conveyer 102 by the discharge devices 301a to 301f, the camera 106 acquires an image of the card 4. Further, the acquired image is transmitted to the database DB.

In the group setter 100, the image of the card surface captured by the camera 106 is subjected to image analysis processing in the image processing unit of the process management system 400 that manages the production line including the group setter 100, and the collective card ID2 of the card falling from the deck input drum 101 to the conveyer 102 is detected by the image analysis processing. That is, in the group arranging machine 100, each time a card falls from the deck drop-in drum 101, the ID of the card (card ID2) is detected, whether the card is discharged from each drum in a predetermined order or not and whether the card is discharged according to a predetermined rule or not are checked, and the result is further recorded in the database DB.

The predetermined rule is that all five cards are not discharged from one input cylinder 101; since the card stock is assigned different patterns and discharged in the assigned order, cards of the same pattern or the like do not appear continuously. Further, as an example of the predetermined rule, the number of enclosed pieces per inner box is, for example, ordinary C11 to 12, unusual U4, rare R1 to 2, rare SR 0 to 2, and super rare HR 0 to 2, which are different depending on the trading card game. The average number of enclosed sheets per carton is C132-144, U48, R12-24, SR 1-24 and HR 1-24.

Fig. 4 is an explanatory diagram showing a case where the package 1 in which the exchangeable cards 4 according to the present embodiment are packed is collectively packed in one inner box with a plurality of packages (for example, 30 packages), and further the inner box 5 is collectively packed in one carton with 12 inner boxes.

The manufacturer of the trading cards 4 classifies the rarity RM and inputs the card information and rarity RM information thus classified into the process management system 400. The input method of this information is arbitrary. In addition, in this embodiment, the card is given the rareness degree RM, but the rareness degree RM may be recorded only in the database DB without being given to the card. In the group arranging step of grouping a predetermined number of trading cards, the manufacturer of the trading cards 4 selects the trading cards to form a group so that the trading cards 4 classified into different rarity RMs are arranged in groups according to a predetermined rule, and inputs the trading card ID2 of the selected trading cards to the process management system 400. In the packing process, the manufacturer of the trading card 4 inputs a pack ID3 that specifies the pack to the process management system 400. In the process of enclosing thirty packages 1 in the inner box 5, thirty packages 1 are attached to the inner box, a unique ID200 (inner box ID200) is given to each inner box, and the inner box ID200 is input to the process management system 400, and in the process of enclosing twelve inner boxes 5 in the carton 6, a unique ID201 (carton ID) is given to each carton, and the carton ID201 is input to the process management system 400. As described above, predetermined information among information input in each process is associated with the trading card ID2 in the database DB of the process management system 400, as will be described later. The database DB may be provided in the process management system 400 or may be provided outside the process management system 400. By registering each ID in the database DB in this manner, when a defect is found in the future, the database DB can be searched based on the ID, thereby specifying the contents of the defective product.

In the inner box filling process, a predetermined number of packages 1 are filled in one inner box, but at this time, the package ID3 of the package 1 in the inner box is read by a camera, whereby the package ID3 of the package 1 filled in one inner box can be easily registered in the database DB of the process management system 400. After reading the bar codes 3 of all the packages 1 in one inner box, the process control system 400 may generate an ID (inner box ID200) specifying the inner box and print a bar code indicating the inner box ID on the seal. By attaching the seal to the inner box, management can be performed on an inner box basis. The generated inner box ID is registered in the database DB in association with the package ID3 of the package 1 attached to the inner box.

Similarly, when a predetermined number of inner cases 5 are mounted on one carton 6 and a plurality of inner cases are loaded on the carton, the inner case ID200 may be read from all the inner cases mounted on one carton by a barcode reader, the read inner case ID200 may be associated with an ID (carton ID201) specific to the carton, and the associated inner case ID may be registered in the database DB of the process management system 400. At this time, when the bar codes of all the inner cases in one carton are read, the process management system 400 generates an ID (carton ID201) specifying the carton, and prints the bar code indicating the carton ID on the seal. By attaching the seal to the carton, management can be performed on a carton-by-carton basis.

Further, when a predetermined number of cartons are mounted on the pallet, and a plurality of cartons are mounted on the pallet, the carton ID201 may be read from all the cartons mounted on one pallet by a barcode reader, and the read carton ID201 may be associated with an ID (pallet ID) specific to the pallet and then registered in the database DB of the process management system 400. At this time, when the bar code reading of all the cartons in one tray is completed, the process management system 400 generates an ID (tray ID) specifying the tray, and prints a bar code indicating the tray ID on the seal. By attaching the seal to the tray, management can be performed on a tray-by-tray basis.

As described above, by attaching not only the collective card ID2 and the package ID3 but also the inner box ID200 and the box ID201 to the inner box, the box, and the like, it is possible to manage the inner box unit and the box unit. That is, for example, when a certain type of mismatching is found in a certain trading card 4, the ID of the package, inner box, or carton in which the trading card 4 is loaded can be retrieved from the database DB based on the trading card ID2 of the trading card 4. Further, disposal may be performed in units of packages, inner boxes, and cartons in which the improper trading cards 4 are placed. Conversely, all of the inner box IDs 200 and the exchangeable card ID2 loaded therein can be known from the carton ID 201.

Next, the inspection step in the present embodiment will be described. The inspection step is performed by the process management system 400. The present embodiment includes the following steps: checking whether the exchangeable cards 4 in the package are in the number of pieces and in the group conforming to the predetermined rule based on the exchangeable card ID2 and the rarity RM of the exchangeable cards 4 built in the package 1, the inner box 5, or the paper box 6; an inspection step of inspecting whether the replaceable card 4 in the package is a number conforming to a predetermined rule according to the weight or thickness in a state where the replaceable card is built in the package 1 in a group of replaceable cards built in the package 1, the inner box 5 or the paper box 6; reading the carton ID201, identifying the inner box ID200 and the package ID3, further identifying a plurality of trading cards with a predetermined rarity RM put in the carton, and checking whether the rarity RM of the trading cards is put in a predetermined ratio.

The assembly/discharge machine 100 illustrated in the above embodiment is merely an example, and the specific configuration of the assembly/discharge machine is not limited to the above example. For example, the configuration for discharging the cards from the input cylinder 101 is not limited to the above-described input cylinder and roller, and may be a configuration for taking out the cards by a mechanism such as a robot arm.

In the present embodiment, the following advantages are obtained by associating the trading card ID with the ID of the package or inner box or carton related to the trading card 4 and registering the association in the database DB.

For example, in the event that a customer who purchased package 1 notices that there are certain defects in the purchased trading card, the customer informs the manufacturer of trading card 4 of package ID 3. In this case, the customer may send the package or card printed with the package ID3 to the manufacturer and read the package ID3 from the manufacturer, or the customer may read the package ID3 with a barcode reader or the like and send the read data to the manufacturer by a communication means such as an e-mail. Thus, the manufacturer searches the database DB based on the package ID to obtain the five trading card IDs 2 that should be originally loaded into the package. Then, by comparing the ID in the database DB with the ID of the exchangeable card 4 actually loaded in the package, the authenticity and/or defect of the exchangeable card in the package can be specified.

At the time of delivery, data (the trading card ID and information associated therewith) relating to the package 1 to be delivered can be downloaded from the database DB to the portable storage medium, and the storage medium can be delivered to the customer as an accessory. The data structure (format) of the download data downloaded from the database DB to the storage medium is arbitrary, provided that the data structure can be referred to by a computer of a customer. In this case, when a defect such as folding of a card is found on the customer side, the package ID is notified to the manufacturer, the manufacturer reads the package ID3 of the defective package 1 with a barcode reader or the like, and the data in the storage medium can be searched based on the read package ID 3. Even if a package ID3 stored in the storage medium and a replacement card ID2 of the delivery item are checked by the manufacturer side against each other when the replacement card 4 or the card intended to be improperly mixed into the delivery item to the customer is stolen, if it is found that there is a replacement card 4 having a replacement card ID that does not exist in the storage medium supplied at the time of delivery or there is a replacement card 4 having a replacement card ID that should exist, it can be determined that the replacement card 4 is improperly mixed into the storage medium or the card is stolen. This prevents a counterfeit from being mixed or stolen by a third party.

While one embodiment of the present invention has been described above, the technical scope of the present invention also relates to the following additional matters.
